Have you ever been underwater and discovered objects that may need to be raised to the surface such as an outboard motor? - have you been asked to look for an object that a swimmer has lost whilst swimming? Now is your chance to learn how to do this; how to be able to calculate what equipment you need to lift the object; develope a search pattern that is suitable for you to recover that lost object and have the knowledge as to how to secure the object to the Lift Bag or other lifting equipment.

 

Course Requirements:

 

You must be at least (Junior)Advanced Open Water Diver qualified.

 

Minimum Age:

 

12 years

 

Duration:

 

Recommended study time is 24hours and the course consists of four Open Water dives and teaches you how to develope a series of search patterns to suit differing underwater conditions; tie suitable knots whilst underwater in order to secure the object to a lifting device and then raise it to the surface - now is the chance to enhance your knowledge and skills in this really enjoyable and useful additional skill/course. You will be taught different, knots, search patterns and the use of a lifting device.

 

Course Materials:

 

PADI Search & Recovery Manual and a Compass(which can be purchased at an additional small cost from us or rented for the duration of the course). The manual can be sent to your home address, aat a small additional cost, so that you can begin the theory part of your course before you start you holiday in Gozo! The cost of equipment hire is not included in the course but any teaching aids are inclusive.
