PADI Enriched Air Diver - €180.00 - (Includes Manual & Certification where available)

By diving with enriched air rather than standard air you can extend your no decompression limits. This means more time underwater. For example, if you dive to 15 metres/50 feet on air, your no decompression limit is 80 minutes, but, diving on EANx36, gets you 220 minutes of no decompression time - an increase of 140 minutes. The Enriched Air Diver Course can be a non diving course and involve classroom study only, however, you will have to prepare and use your knowledge to plan and simulate two Enriched Air Dives instead. Most students prefer the experience of putting this knowledge into practice and do two real dives!

Course Requirements:

A current PADI Open Water Student (or qualifying certification from another organisation)

Minimum age:

12 years

The Course Covers:

The PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty certification emphasises the theoretical and operational considerations involved with enriched air diving. Duration: No minimum but probably a couple of days study to understand the tables and complete the written exam.

Course Materials:

PADI Enriched Air Manual which also includes an Enriched Air 32 percent table, Enriched Air 36 percent able and Equivalent Air Depth/Oxygen Exposure Table is included in the cost as well as certification. The manual can be sent to your home address, at a small additional cost, so you can begin your theory before you start your holiday in Gozo!

Please Note:

Equipment Hire not included as this is a non diving certification, however we would always suggest that you dive with 'Nitrox' following the course completion for experience. Please also note that a small additional charge will apply for the use of Enriched Air (Nitrox).
