Master Scuba Diver

WHY CONSIDER ACHIEVING THE MASTER SCUBA DIVING RATING ?

Join the best of the best in recreational scuba diving and live your dive life as a PADI Master Scuba Diver. The Master Scuba Diver rating places you in an elite group of respected divers who have earned this rating through both significant experience and scuba training. Fewer than two percent of divers ever achieve this rating. When you show your Master Scuba Diver card, people know that you’ve spent time underwater in a variety of environments and had your share of dive adventures.

Every diver, who is at least 12 years old, should aim for Master Scuba Diver (Junior Master Scuba Diver for 12 to 15 year olds).

The path starts with earning a PADI Open Water Diver certification, followed by PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying certifications from other approved training agencies). You also need to earn five PADI Specialty Diver certifications and have logged a minimum of 50 dives.

Having achieved the PADI 5 Specialty Courses, you will then be regarded a diver with a broad range of skills and experience. Whilst the PADI Advanced Open Water qualification provides you with the first dive in Deep and Navigation courses we would always encourage divers with the advanced level to choose to complete the full Deep Diver and Navigation Courses as part of the necessary five require Specialty Courses. There is not a specific price for this course as the cost will depend upon what you may need to do to complete whatever additional qualifications are necessary.
