Utina Diving College Ltd is a PADI Five Star Gold Palm IDC Centre and prides itself on its friendly professional attitude to diving. We are a good crew and our aim is to make your experience of diving with us and the Island something that you want to come back to. We have the advantage of having both English and German staff. We have regular social gatherings during the season where divers and non-divers are welcome.

The warm and crystal clear blue waters around the island of Gozo offer perfect diving conditions. Divers from all over the world enjoy exploring the tunnels, caves, grottos, reefs and spectacular scenery abundant with marine life as well as the 260 foot-long wreck of the MV Xlendi, an ex- Malta - Gozo ferry scuttled in a diver an environmentally friendly way of the coast of Xatt L'Ahmar in November 1999, the superb tugboat the Rozi, the El Faroud and the famous ship used in the making of the film Popeye in 1979 popularly known as the Popeye Barge just of Anchor Bay. Other dive sites include Alexanders Cave, Santa Maria Caves, Lantern Point on Comino and the Cathedral Cave and Coral Cave at Dwerja and only add to the Gozo diving experience.

We can arrange part or all of your transfers from the airport to your accommodation. Just let us know your flight numbers and details, where you are staying and how many in your party. We can also arrange Car or Jeep Hire for your stay at competitive rates. Remember to bring your driving licence with you.

PADI Scuba Diver Course - €225.00 or £165.29

The PADI Scuba Diver Course is a pre-entry level certification. It introduces you to an amazing underwater world and your first stepping stone into becoming a qualified Scuba Diver. The course is ideal if time is limited and you want to go diving fast! It is part of the next entry level course and counts towards the PADI Open Water Course. Once qualified you are then allowed to dive under the direct supervsion of a PADI Professional. The cost of the course includes certification.

The course consists of three confined water dives and two open water dives. Please note that PADI Open Water Dive Manual and the Recreational Dive Planner (RDP) are required course materials.

Course requirements:

Minimum age: 10

A signed certificate on successful completion                                 

Duration:

Over 2 full days
