PADI Open Water Dive Course - €350.00

This is the certification course needed to dive safely anywhere in the world with a certified buddy. You will be qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres. All materials can be provided for a flexible home study option and knowledge review session at your convenience. Confined water sessions are followed by four open water-qualifying dives to gain your certification. Participants must be at least 15 years old and have had completed a medical form. We are also happy to conduct Open Water Diver referral programs so contact us through the website or call us.

Open Water Referrals:- The price of an Open Water referral is:- €195.00 - always remember to send/bring the appropriate paperwork with you duly signed by your Instructor.

Course requirements:

Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a PADI Junior Open Water Diver program available.

Ability to swim 200 metres and float for 10 minutes.

The PADI Open Water Diver program covers:

Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by the completing confined water dives, 5 knowledge development sessions and by making 4 open water (ocean or lake) dives.

Duration:

PADI programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. You will need to allow between 3 and 5 days to complete the course.

Course materials:

  • PADI Open Water Crew-Pack (Book or CD Rom optional) and Recreational Dive Planner RDP are a requirement and are at an additional cost.
  • PADI Open Water Video or DVD.
  • Log Book.
