Welcome to the Utina PADI authorised diving college, Gozo. We offer a full range of diving courses, including; PADI Divemaster, PADI Bubble Maker, PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, PADI Rescue Diver,PADI Emergency First Responder and many more.

Utina Diving College Ltd is a PADI Five Star Gold Palm IDC Centre and prides itself on its friendly professional attitude to diving. We are a good crew and our aim is to make your experience of diving with us and the Island something that you want to come back to. We have the advantage of having both English and German staff. We have regular social gatherings during the season where divers and non-divers are welcome.

The warm and crystal clear blue waters around the island of Gozo offer perfect diving conditions. Divers from all over the world enjoy exploring the tunnels, caves, grottos, reefs and spectacular scenery abundant with marine life as well as the 260 foot-long wreck of the MV Xlendi, an ex- Malta – Gozo ferry scuttled in a diver an environmentally friendly way of the coast of Xatt L’Ahmar in November 1999, the superb tugboat the Rozi, the El Faroud and the famous ship used in the making of the film Popeye in 1979 popularly known as the Popeye Barge just of Anchor Bay. Other dive sites include Alexanders Cave, Santa Maria Caves, Lantern Point on Comino and the Cathedral Cave and Coral Cave at Dwerja and only add to the Gozo diving experience.

We can arrange part or all of your transfers from the airport to your accommodation. Just let us know your flight numbers and details, where you are staying and how many in your party. We can also arrange Car or Jeep Hire for your stay at competitive rates. Remember to bring your driving licence with you. 

PPADI Dive Master (DM) - €525.00 or £385.66

Take the first step in your dive career and become a PADI Divemaster. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you'll expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills as you become a dive professional. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.

Course Requirements:

  • PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or qualifying certification from another training organisation
  • PADI Rescue Diver certification or qualifying certification from another training organisation.
  • 20 logged dives to enroll, 60 dives for certification
  • 18 years old

What can PADI Dive Masters do?

  • Work at local dive centres, on live-aboard dive boats, yachts and at exotic resort locations
  • Assist PADI Instructors with students
  • Lead PADI Advanced Open Water Divers on guided dive tours
  • Teach and certify PADI Skin Divers
  • Teach PADI Discover Snorkeling programs
  • Conduct PADI Scuba Review programs for certified divers
  • Lead PADI Advanced Open Water Divers on Discover Local Diving experiences.

PADI Dive Master (DM) program covers:

  • Learn dive leadership through knowledge development and independent study sessions
  • Complete water skills and stamina exercises in confined and open water
  • Training exercises to test organisational and problem solving abilities
  • A series of practical training exercises

Duration:

Variable depending on individual candidate. * We are able to offer an Internship for suitable Divemaster Candidates at reduced prices as you will be working in the College which will help towards your course and tuition fees. Please contact us if you would like to consider this option.
