The lure of exploring sunken vessels, airplanes and automobiles is something most divers can't resist. The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course introduces you to wreck diving and helps you develop the skills and knowledge necessary for safe and fun wreck diving.
Course Requirements:
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)
Minimum age: 15 years old
PADI Wreck Diver program covers:
The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of wreck diving
The preparation and use of lights, air supplies, special equipment, penetration lines and reels.
Limited visibility diving techniques and emergency procedures.
Duration:
Minimum Open Water Training: four dives over two days
Course Materials:
PADI Wreck Diver Manual and PADI Wreck Diver Certification are included in the course cost. The manual can be sent to your home address so the you can begin the theory part of your course before you start your holiday in Gozo! Other items which would be essential to successfully complete the course such as a reel, dive computer and/or digital dpeth gauge can be hired from Utina for a nominal amount.
