PADI Divemaster Course - €500.00 - Including the PADI Divemaster Manual
The new Divemaster Course introduced from July 2011 is now fully underway with the first candidates now having experienced the new regime. Whilst the course is basically the same, emphasis has changed on some of the subjects. The new materials are fully available either directly from PADI or via ourselves and most popular language translations are now complete
During the course you will undertake the following assignments:-
Complete knowledge development segments including:-
Complete knowledge development segments including
Knowledge Reviews in the Manual
or through the Divemaster Online, and pass the
Divemaster Final Exam.
Create an Emergency Assistance Plan for a designated
dive site.
Complete waterskills exercises.
Complete a diver rescue assessment.
Complete the dive skills workshop and assessment.
Complete practical application skills.
Complete divemaster-conducted programs workshops.
Complete practical assessments.
At time of certification, verify the candidate has to have:-
Logged at least 60 scuba dives including experience
in night diving, deep diving and underwater
navigation.
Completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care
training within 24 months.
Read and agreed to the PADI Membership and
License Agreement.
Diver Prerequisites
Certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and
PADI Rescue Diver and a minimum of 40 logged dives including night dive experience at entry to the program.
It is usual for potential Divemaster Candidates to have their own equipment at that stage of their career but we are always happy to come to an arrangement with candidates over equipment matters.
Materials would normally include the Instructor Manual including a 'Decal' which will required at the time of registration for certification. The PADI Instructor Manual can be electronically downloaded or purchased in paper format directly from PADI. The full CrewPack is suggested as this contains most of the information for continuing education as a PADI Pro'. For help or assistance please contact us. The PADI DM manual or DM Crewpack can be sent to your home address before your start you DM training with us in Gozo. The manual is icluded in the cost but if your require us to arrange for you to receive the Crewpack then the cost of the manual will be reflected in the Crewpack cost.
We are offering the course as a stand alone 2/3 week course or we offer the opportunity to complete the new course on an "Internship" Basis. This will normally require minimum of a 2 month stay.
